Abstract

Zusammenfassung Beschaffung und Lagerhaltung gehören im Handelsunternehmen zu den wichtigsten Aufgaben. Sie umfassen den bedarfsgerechten Einkauf von Waren, deren Lagerung sowie die Sicherstellung der Verfügbarkeit für den Verkauf. Ziel ist es, die richtige Menge zur richtigen Zeit in der gewünschten Qualität bereitzustellen. Zu den Teilaufgaben zählen die Auswahl und Bewertung von Lieferanten, Preisverhandlungen, Bestellabwicklung, Wareneingangskontrolle sowie Lagerorganisation, Bestandsführung und Inventur. Beschaffung und Lagerhaltung sind wichtig, weil sie die Lieferfähigkeit sichert, Engpässe und Überbestände vermeidet, Kosten verringert und damit entscheidend zur Wirtschaftlichkeit und Kundenzufriedenheit beiträgt. Das Kapitel zeigt die Kennzahlen, die es zur Steuerung braucht.
