Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wie navigiert man als Entscheider zielsicher durch den Dschungel der KI-Möglichkeiten, ohne sich in Details zu verlieren? Dieses Kapitel liefert den Kompass, indem es eine solide theoretische und zugleich praxisnahe Grundlage schafft. Zunächst wird ein einheitliches Wertschöpfungskettenmodell für Versicherer hergeleitet: eine strategische Landkarte, die es erlaubt, Optimierungspotenziale präzise zu verorten. Darauf aufbauend wird der technologische Werkzeugkasten der KI systematisch in die drei Kernbereiche Datenanalyse, Interaktion und Bildverarbeitung gegliedert. Der entscheidende Mehrwert liegt in der Synthese: Das Kapitel identifiziert die prominentesten KI-Anwendungsfälle, von der automatisierten Schadenregulierung bis zur dynamischen Preisgestaltung, und ordnet diese klar den einzelnen Prozessstufen zu. Leser erhalten eine visuelle Übersicht, wo genau KI den größten Hebel darstellt. Abschließend wird die entscheidende Frage der Priorisierung kritisch beleuchtet, indem etablierte Managementmodelle auf ihre Tauglichkeit für KI-Projekte geprüft werden.
