Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel analysiert die Apollo-13-Mission als Referenzfall für die Leistungsfähigkeit von Hochleistungsteams in extremen Krisensituationen. Es wird aufgezeigt, wie eine strikte gemeinsame Betriebssprache und geteilte mentale Modelle (Shared Mental Models) die Grundlage für psychologische Sicherheit schufen. Das Kapitel führt das wissenschaftliche Konzept der High Reliability Organizations (HRO) ein und belegt anhand der fünf Prinzipien nach Weick und Sutcliffe, warum das NASA-Bodenpersonal katastrophale Fehler vermeiden konnte. Zudem wird der Führungsstil von Gene Kranz als Musterbeispiel für situative Führung dekonstruiert und in ein Rollenmodell für moderne Managementteams (Navigatoren, Analytiker, Problemlöser, Stabilisatoren) übersetzt.
