Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Aufbau und die Lenkung von Humanressourcen erfolgen auf zwei komplementären Wegen. Interaktionelle Führung umfasst die unmittelbare Einflussnahme von Führungskräften auf den Zielerreichungsprozess anderer. Dabei stehen Führungsstile und Führungsbeziehungen im Zentrum. Strukturelle Führung bezeichnet den Einsatz personalwirtschaftlicher Systeme. Sie reicht von Personalauswahl und Leistungsbeurteilung über Personalentwicklung und Arbeitsgestaltung bis hin zu Anreizsystemen. Das Kapitel zeigt, dass die Verantwortung von Führungskräften nicht bei der interaktionellen Führung endet. Vielmehr setzen sie personalwirtschaftliche Systeme ein und prägen deren Wirkung entscheidend. Ihre Gestaltung kann daher nicht vollständig an Personalabteilungen delegiert werden. Der Aufbau und die Lenkung von Humanressourcen sind eine zentrale und häufig unterschätzte Führungsverantwortung.
