Abstract

Zusammenfassung Einsatzkräfte bei Polizei, Feuerwehr, Rettungsdiensten, Militär, Katastrophenhilfe oder Sicherheitsdiensten sind im Berufsalltag mit außergewöhnlichen psychischen Belastungen konfrontiert. Diese entstehen aus der wiederholten Konfrontation mit Gewalt, Leid, Tod und existenziellen Krisensituationen, verstärkt durch strukturelle Rahmenbedingungen wie Schichtdienst, Personalmangel oder fehlende Nachsorge. Die Belastungsprofile variieren je nach Berufsgruppe, zeigen jedoch gemeinsame Muster: emotionale Dissonanz, moralische Konflikte sowie das Spannungsfeld zwischen professionellem Handeln und innerer Betroffenheit. Das Kapitel beleuchtet die unterschiedlichen Belastungsrealitäten, zeigt zentrale Stressoren auf und schafft ein differenziertes Verständnis für die psychische Beanspruchung im Einsatzdienst als Grundlage für Prävention, Sensibilisierung und gezielte Unterstützung.
