Abstract

Zusammenfassung Nicht nur die einzelnen Sportvereine, sondern auch der Vereinssport als Feld steht vor der Herausforderung, angesichts von Krisen Überlegungen bezüglich seiner Resilienz anzustellen, da diese nicht nur die Leistungsbetriebe der Vereine, sondern auch die Regeln und Normen, die „Spielregeln“, des Feldes Vereinssport betreffen. Versteht man Normen und Regeln als Institutionen, so stellt Resilienz auf institutioneller Ebene den Prozess dar, wie Normen wiederhergestellt werden können. Ausgehend von einem qualitativen Forschungsansatz und dem institutional-work-Konzept wird in diesem Beitrag untersucht, welche institutional-work-Aktivitäten im österreichischen Vereinssport Anwendung gefunden haben, um institutionelle Resilienz in der COVID-19-Pandemie zu erreichen. Nebst einer kontextbezogenen Spezifizierung bereits aus der Literatur bekannter Aktivitäten stellt die Identifikation neuer institutional-work-Aktivitäten ein zentrales Forschungsergebnis dar. Insgesamt wird damit das Konzept der institutionellen Resilienz im Krisenkontext der COVID-19-Pandemie weiterentwickelt.
