Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Buchbeitrag widmet sich dem vielschichtigen Konzept der Resilienz auf individueller, organisationaler und gesellschaftlicher Ebene und beleuchtet dessen Potenzial, Nonprofit-Organisationen (NPOs) für die Zukunft zu stärken. Ziel ist es, NPOs besser auf Krisen und gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen vorzubereiten. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Resilienz der Mitarbeitenden und deren Einfluss auf die Widerstandsfähigkeit der Organisationen. Der Beitrag zeigt den Mehrwert von Resilienz für Einzelpersonen, Organisationen und die Gesellschaft auf und stellt resilienzfördernde Maßnahmen wie betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung und unterstützendes Führungsverhalten vor. Resilienz wird als Chance für NPOs dargestellt, wobei auch die positiven Effekte hervorgehoben werden. Zudem werden kritische Aspekte der Resilienztheorie beleuchtet. Abschließend betont der Beitrag die Notwendigkeit eines ausgewogenen Verständnisses von Resilienz, das sowohl individuelle als auch kollektive Verantwortung in den Blick nimmt.
