Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel blickt auf die Zukunft der Künstlichen Intelligenz und deren wachsende Bedeutung für den Mittelstand. Es beschreibt, wie KI in den kommenden Jahren nicht nur eine technologische Option, sondern eine Grundlage für Wettbewerbsfähigkeit wird. Unternehmen müssen sich an neuen Trends orientieren, ihre Rolle im KI-Umfeld klar definieren und Chancen pragmatisch nutzen, ohne Werte und Verantwortung aus den Augen zu verlieren. Dabei spielen technologische Entwicklungen wie generative KI, erklärbare Modelle und die Automatisierung datenbasierter Entscheidungen eine zentrale Rolle. Ebenso werden ethische und regulatorische Fragen immer relevanter, insbesondere durch neue gesetzliche Rahmenbedingungen wie die europäische KI-Verordnung. Das Kapitel betont, dass der langfristige Erfolg im Mittelstand nicht nur von der Technologie abhängt, sondern auch von der Haltung der Unternehmen gegenüber KI, ihrer Offenheit für Veränderungen und ihrer Fähigkeit, Schritt für Schritt zu experimentieren.
