Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel widmet sich den praktischen Rahmenbedingungen, unter denen KI-Projekte in mittelständischen Unternehmen geplant, umgesetzt und im Arbeitsalltag verankert werden. Es beschreibt zentrale Faktoren, die den Verlauf solcher Projekte prägen, darunter Zieldefinition und Use-Case-Auswahl, Datenqualität und Infrastruktur, verfügbare Kompetenzen sowie organisatorische und kulturelle Aspekte. Darüber hinaus werden typische Stolpersteine thematisiert, die sich aus begrenzten Ressourcen, unklaren Zuständigkeiten, Datenschutzanforderungen und fehlenden Standards ergeben können. Anhand praxisnaher Beispiele wird erläutert, wie unterschiedliche Vorgehensweisen den Projektverlauf beeinflussen und welche Muster in der Umsetzung sichtbar werden. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf der Rolle von Mitarbeitenden, Führungskräften und Kommunikation im Veränderungsprozess. Das Kapitel schafft damit einen strukturierten Überblick über die Bedingungen, unter denen KI-Projekte im Mittelstand gestaltet werden.
