Abstract

Zusammenfassung Während die Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise vergleichsweise eng mit wirtschaftlichen Herausforderungen und Auswirkungen verbunden war, haben die Folgen der Corona-Krise auch zu dauerhaften und tiefgreifenden gesellschaftlichen Veränderungen geführt. So hat etwa die Akzeptanz der verschiedenen staatlichen Maßnahmen zu Rissen in der Gesellschaft geführt, die selbst innerhalb Familienstrukturen zu Tage traten. Exemplarisch ist hier die Debatte über die Impfpflicht zu nennen. Zudem machte die Krise soziale Unterschiede sichtbarer (zu nennen sind hier etwa die verteilungspolitischen Beiträge in ZBW–Leibniz-Informationszentrum, 2021). Gesellschaftliche Auswirkungen, wie etwa die Zunahme häuslicher Gewalt, massive gesundheitliche Einschränkungen durch umfassende Quarantäneregeln sowie die Folgen für Kinder und Jugendliche durch Schul- und Kitaschließungen gehen schließlich weit über die wirtschaftlichen Folgen der Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise hinaus.
