Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel führt das Konzept der naturzentrierten Strategien in Unternehmen ein, wobei die Natur als das „Altero“ betrachtet wird. Es argumentiert, dass die Ausrichtung des Unternehmenshandelns an der Natur eine existenzielle Notwendigkeit ist, da wir untrennbar mit ihr verbunden sind. Der Text kritisiert das veraltete Narrativ der Industrialisierung und die Dominanz der Natur durch Technik, da dies an seine Grenzen gestoßen ist. Es wird betont, dass unser Verhalten das einzige Problem ist und bewusste Entscheidungen statt alter Routinen getroffen werden müssen. Das Kapitel fordert ein Umdenken in der Wirtschaft, weg von reinem Wachstum hin zu einem harmonischen Miteinander mit der Mitwelt, und liefert Argumente gegen die Notwendigkeit von ständigem Wirtschaftswachstum für Umweltschutz. Es schließt mit der Aufforderung, die Natur als Teil von uns zu begreifen und eine neue Ökonomie zu gestalten.
