Abstract

ZusammenfassungKaizen bietet für den Rettungsdienst großes Potenzial, wenn die Philosophie gezielt an die besonderen Abläufe und Herausforderungen angepasst wird. Die kontinuierliche Verbesserung von Prozessen kann die Qualität der Patientenversorgung steigern und die Mitarbeitenden aktiv einbinden. Erfahrungen aus Lean Hospital-Projekten zeigen, dass Lean-Ansätze im Gesundheitswesen erfolgreich sind und sich auch im Rettungsdienst anwenden lassen. Im Fokus stehen die Vermeidung von Verschwendung, reibungslose Abläufe, faire Arbeitsbelastung und klare Standards. Besonders wichtig ist die Beteiligung der Mitarbeitenden, da sie die besten Ideen für praktische Verbesserungen liefern.
