Abstract

ZusammenfassungDer Rettungsdienst steht vor wachsenden Herausforderungen: steigender Einsatzdruck, Fachkräftemangel und komplexe Qualitätsanforderungen. Klassische Qualitätsmanagementsysteme stoßen dabei oft an ihre Grenzen. Kaizen, die Philosophie der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung, bietet einen alternativen Weg: kleine, nachhaltige Veränderungen mit aktiver Beteiligung aller Mitarbeitenden. Dieses Buch zeigt, wie Kaizen systematisch im Rettungsdienst angewendet werden kann. Praxisnah, alltagstauglich und teamorientiert. Es erläutert die Grundlagen von Kaizen, grenzt es vom klassischen Qualitätsmanagement ab und stellt konkrete Werkzeuge für den Rettungsdienst vor. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf dem Gemba Walk und dem „EMS Field Observer“-Konzept. Darüber hinaus gibt das Buch konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen zur erfolgreichen Einführung von Kaizen in Einrichtungen des Rettungsdienstes.
