Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das enorme Wirtschaftswachstum Chinas wirft die Frage auf, ob es dafür eine Theorie oder ein Modell gibt. Zunächst werden die aktuellen Wirtschaftsziele dargelegt sowie deren Umsetzung. Anschließend wird die Diskussion um das China-Modell aus chinesischer und westlicher Sicht analysiert. Die Frage der Übertragbarkeit und der chinesische Staatskapitalismus werden als Hindernisse für die Annahme eines Modells gesehen. Außerdem wird das China-Modell mit dem ostasiatischen und dem singapurischen Modell verglichen.
