Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seit der Erstauflage haben sich globale Entwicklungen wie die COVID-19-Pandemie und der russische Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine als prägende Einschnitte erwiesen, die internationale Unsicherheit und geopolitische Spannungen verstärkt haben. Besonders das Verhältnis zwischen China, Russland, den USA und Europa steht dabei im Fokus, geprägt von ambivalenten Allianzen, wachsender technologischer Rivalität und geopolitischen Machtverschiebungen. Neben militärischen Konflikten rücken Fragen der technologischen Innovationskraft, Bildung und ökologischen Stabilität zunehmend ins Zentrum systemischer Konkurrenz. Trotz aller Spannungen bleibt der Dialog mit China unverzichtbar, um gemeinsame Herausforderungen wie Umweltkrisen, soziale Fragmentierung und globale Verflechtung zu bewältigen.
