Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Kapitel widmet sich dem Eltern-Reboarding als strategischem und wertschätzendem Prozess für die Rückkehr von Eltern nach der Karenz in den Beruf. Zentrale Gedanken sind die Bedeutung einer familienfreundlichen Unternehmenskultur, die gezielte Unterstützung durch Führungskräfte, HR und Kolleg:innen sowie die Einbindung aller Akteur:innen in einen strukturierten, mehrphasigen Wiedereinstiegsprozess. Das Reboarding umfasst die sorgfältige Vorbereitung des Austrittes, den Erhalt von sozialem und fachlichem Kontakt während der Karenz sowie einen individuellen, empathischen Wiedereintritt. Zahlreiche familienunterstützende Maßnahmen – von flexiblen Arbeitszeiten über Mentoring bis hin zu betrieblichen Gesundheitsangeboten – fördern die Vereinbarkeit von Beruf und Familie und sichern die langfristige Bindung von Talenten. Der Prozess bringt nicht nur Vorteile für Eltern und Unternehmen, sondern wirkt sich auch positiv auf gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen wie den demografischen Wandel und die Gleichstellung aus.
