Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das siebte Kapitel präsentiert die Arbeitsplatzgestaltung als wichtige Rahmenbedingung für zukünftige Fach- und Führungskräfte. Studierende wünschen sich einen attraktiven Standort des Arbeitgebers, der sich im Idealfall in einer zentralen Lage befindet. Ein attraktiver Standort beinhaltet eine gute und schnelle Erreichbarkeit des Arbeitgebers, um bspw. das Rad nutzen zu können und Zeit zu sparen. Hierzu gehört auch die Möglichkeit, von zuhause aus im Home-Office zu arbeiten. Fach- und Führungskräfte von morgen wünschen sich zudem ein qualifiziertes Erscheinungsbild des Arbeitgebers. Dies betrifft nicht nur ein positives Image des Arbeitgebers, sondern auch ein förderliches Umfeld und qualifizierte Kollegen. Eine zeitgemäße Büroausstattung, moderne Computertechnik und Werkstätten, ansprechende Arbeitsplätze und ergonomische Arbeitsmöbel sind weitere Anforderungen. Das siebende Kapitel endet mit einem Exkurs, der die kritische Seite des Home-Office-Arbeitsplatzes beleuchtet. Neben einer motivierenden Wirkung besteht die Gefahr, dass bei einer übermäßigen Home-Office-Nutzung die Entwicklung der Teamkultur leidet. Die Übernahme von (spontanen) Vertretungsfunktionen für Mitarbeiter vor Ort wird erschwert. Home-Office kann zu einer familiären Belastung führen und eine Vereinsamung des im Home-Office arbeitenden Mitarbeiter fördern. Die Untersuchungsergebnisse werden in einer Mind-Map zusammengeführt.
