Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das elfte Kapitel präsentiert die Ergebnisse einer qualitativen Studie (2023–2025) mit 22 angehenden Fach- und Führungskräften zu ihren Einstellungen, Erwartungen und Motivationsfaktoren im beruflichen Kontext. Ziel ist es, zu verstehen, was junge Menschen antreibt, wie sie Arbeit erleben und welche Bedingungen Engagement und Leistung fördern. Dabei werden zentrale Fragen untersucht: Welche Faktoren motivieren sie zu hohem Einsatz, auch über die reguläre Arbeitszeit hinaus, und welche Rahmenbedingungen sind dafür wichtig? Die Antworten zeigen, dass Wertschätzung, Sinnhaftigkeit, Teamzusammenhalt, Mitgestaltungsmöglichkeiten, persönliche Weiterentwicklung sowie faire Bezahlung, flexible Arbeitsmodelle und authentische Führung entscheidend sind. Außerdem werden typische Karriere- und Lebensziele, Ängste und Sorgen der jungen Generation beleuchtet. Abschließend wird erörtert, wie Studierende potenzielle Arbeitgeber wahrnehmen und welche Faktoren ein attraktives Arbeitgeberimage ausmachen. Das Kapitel liefert damit wertvolle Impulse für Führungskräfte und Personalverantwortliche, die die Erwartungen der nächsten Generation gezielt in Management- und Employer-Branding-Strategien integrieren wollen.
