Abstract

Zusammenfassung Motivation bezeichnet einen Prozess, bei dem eine Person dazu gebracht und angeregt wird, auf eine bestimmte Weise zu handeln (Helmold & Martensen, 2025). Im Kontext einer Organisation bedeutet Motivation, die Mitarbeiter zu ermutigen und anzutreiben, ihr Bestes zu geben, um die gewünschten Ziele der Organisation zu erreichen. Motivation ist nicht unbedingt mit der Arbeitszufriedenheit verbunden, sondern mit einer Übereinstimmung zwischen Anreizen (vom Management) und Motiven (des einzelnen Mitarbeiters) (Helmold, 2021). Motivation setzt sich aus vier Elementen zusammen (Abb. 7.1), die durch innere und äußere Impulse und Anreize getriggert werden.
