Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Klimawandel kostet. Steigende Durchschnittstemperaturen, Extremwetterereignisse und veränderte Niederschlagsmuster verursachen ökonomische Schäden in Billionenhöhe – ganz zu schweigen von den fatalen Konsequenzen für Ökosysteme und menschliches Leben. Die durch Klimaschäden verursachten Kosten übersteigen die der Emissionsvermeidung dabei um ein Vielfaches.
