Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag von Leo Hill beleuchtet die zentrale Rolle von Soft Skills im internationalen Businesskontext. Anhand eigener Praxiserfahrungen zeigt der Autor, wie soziale und kommunikative Kompetenzen – insbesondere Empathie, interkulturelle Sensibilität und Konfliktfähigkeit – den Erfolg grenzüberschreitender Zusammenarbeit maßgeblich beeinflussen. Soft Skills gewinnen durch Trends wie Digitalisierung, Environmental-Social-Governance-Anforderungen (ESG-Anforderungen) und globale Vernetzung weiter an Bedeutung. Dennoch fehlt es bislang an strukturierten Bewertungs- und Entwicklungsinstrumenten, um diese Fähigkeiten systematisch zu erfassen und gezielt zu fördern. Hill plädiert für ein stärkeres Bewusstsein in Unternehmen und eine stärkere Verankerung von Soft Skills in Führung, Personalentwicklung und Ausbildung.
