Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Faktor „Soft Skill“ im Recruiting und Headhunting wird zunehmend entscheidend für erfolgreiche Besetzungen. Während Hard Skills die Eintrittskarte in Auswahlprozesse darstellen, bestimmen Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Empathie, Resilienz oder Veränderungskompetenz über langfristige Wirksamkeit und kulturelle Passung. Fehlbesetzungen scheitern oft nicht am Fachwissen, sondern an unzureichenden Soft Skills. Daher braucht es strukturierte, evidenzbasierte Bewertungsverfahren wie verhaltensbasierte Interviews, 360°-Feedbacks oder Simulationen. Digitale Tools ergänzen, ersetzen aber nicht die professionelle Beobachtung. Soft Skills sind dynamische Entwicklungsfelder, die durch Erfahrung, Feedback, Coaching und Lernkultur gefördert werden können. Case Studies verdeutlichen, dass starke Soft Skills fachliche Lücken kompensieren können, während Defizite zu teuren Fehlbesetzungen führen. Strategisch wirken Soft Skills auch in Onboarding, Retention und Kulturarbeit als Hebel. Zukünftig gewinnen künstliche-Intelligenz-gestützte (KI-gestützte) Verfahren, das Konzept des Cultural Add sowie purposeorientierte Führung an Bedeutung.
