Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag beleuchtet, wie Soft Skills im Kontext des demografischen Wandels zur Schlüsselressource für Organisationen werden, insbesondere in der Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Generationen. In vielen Unternehmen treffen heute vier Alterskohorten mit unterschiedlichen Werten, Kommunikationsstilen und Erwartungen aufeinander. Diese Vielfalt birgt Reibung, aber auch enormes Potenzial. Der Text zeigt, wie intergenerationale Kooperation gelingen kann: durch gezielte Soft-Skill-Entwicklung, generationensensible Führung und neue Lernformate, die Tradition mit technologischer Innovation verbinden. Themen wie Mentoring, Perspektivwechsel, emotionale Intelligenz und digitale Brücken stehen im Zentrum der Analyse. Der Beitrag plädiert für eine Personalentwicklung, die nicht nur auf Fachkompetenz setzt, sondern emotionale, kommunikative und reflexive Fähigkeiten systematisch fördert. Soft Skills werden dabei nicht als individuelle Extras verstanden, sondern als kollektive Infrastruktur für gelingende Zusammenarbeit. Statt Unterschiede zwischen Generationen als Hindernis zu begreifen, lädt der Beitrag dazu ein, sie als Ressource für nachhaltigen Wandel, im Sinne einer Arbeitswelt, die auf Verbindung statt Spaltung setzt, zu nutzen.
