Abstract

Zusammenfassung Unsere Innenstädte befinden sich im stetigen Wandel und stellen uns vor immer neue Herausforderungen. Für die Stadt Villingen-Schwenningen hat es sich bewährt, drei Attribute festzulegen, von denen sich Handlungsfelder und Maßnahmen für das Citymanagement ableiten lassen. „Sauber, sicher, schön“ – drei Worte, die jeder versteht, mit viel Bedeutung. Als Handlungsfelder wurden die Steigerung der Aufenthaltsqualität, das Leerstandsmanagement und die Schaffung von Frequenz definiert. Warum Innenstadt nicht alleine geht, welche Ideen es braucht und vor welche Herausforderungen das Citymanagement und Stadtmarketing immer wieder gestellt werden – das erfahren Sie in diesem Kapitel.
