Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Einordnung des Fußballspielers als sportliches Leistungsgut zeigt, dass sein Wert nicht in ökonomischen Kennziffern, sondern in der Fähigkeit liegt, sportliche Qualität situativ ins Spiel einzubringen. Er entsteht aus der Verbindung technischer, taktischer, athletischer, kognitiver und psychischer Kompetenzen, die nur im Zusammenspiel mit Mannschaft, Gegner und Spielidee wirksam werden. Leistungsdiagnostik im Fußball muss daher kontextabhängiges, dynamisches Handeln berücksichtigen, anstatt isolierte Daten zu bewerten. Frühzeitige Sichtung, Talentdiagnostik und Förderung in Nachwuchsleistungszentren bilden die Basis zur Potenzialentwicklung, bergen jedoch Risiken wie Frühselektion und soziale Belastungen. Das Kapitel verdeutlicht, dass der Spieler nur in einer prozessualen und pädagogisch reflektierten Betrachtung adäquat erfasst werden kann.
