Abstract

Zusammenfassung Marktunvollkommenheiten werden in der Literatur häufig als Ursache von Ineffizienzen oder für das Versagen von Märkten betrachtet. Der vorliegende Artikel fokussiert die individuelle Unternehmenssicht und arbeitet potenzielle Vorteile für die Unternehmensführung angesichts unvollkommener Märkte heraus. Diese Vorteile basieren darauf, dass Unvollkommenheiten manche Geschäftsmodelle überhaupt erst ermöglichen oder den Grundstein für attraktive Gewinnmargen legen. Die bekannten Wettbewerbsstrategien von Porter basieren ebenfalls elementar auf dem Vorliegen entsprechender Unvollkommenheiten und werden nachfolgend in diesen Kontext gestellt.
