Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der vorliegende Beitrag befasst sich mit dem allgemein wahrnehmbaren Zustand der (wissenschaftlichen) Theorie realwirtschaftlicher Prozesse. Betrachtet wird vornehmlich die praktische Belastbarkeit ausgewählter theoretischer Postulate vor dem Hintergrund (auch) nicht ausschließlich „ökonomischer“ Ziele oder Präferenzen der jeweiligen Akteure bei grundsätzlich begrenzten Ressourcen. Neben einer kursorischen Darstellung der zeitgenössischen Standardargumentation widmen wir insbesondere den bisweilen schwer zugänglichen Verhaltensaxiomen der bis heute grundlegenden Modelle einen ausführlichen Exkurs. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden die (Fehl-)Entwicklungen der Übertragung formal-theoretischer Schlussfolgerungen auf die wirtschaftspolitische Realität skizziert, während auf den gleichzeitig offenkundigen Mangel an praxisnaher ökonomischer Kompetenz verwiesen wird. Allerdings kann auch nicht verborgen bleiben, dass (u. a.) die akademischen Rahmenbedingungen einer realitätsnäheren Prosperität der Ökonomik entgegenstehen.
