Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seit dem „Konzept für die Aufstellung und den Einsatz von Spezialeinheiten der Länder und des Bundes für die Bekämpfung von Terroristen“ nach dem Anschlag zu den Olympischen Spielen in München im Jahr 1972 haben sich die Anforderungen und Tätigkeiten der Spezialeinheiten und Spezialkräfte (SE/SK) weiterentwickelt. Ein maßgeblicher Aspekt dabei liegt in einer professionellen Personalauswahl. Ziel der Auswahl von SE/SK in Bund und Länder ist es, nicht nur geeignetes, sondern „das beste“ Personal zu rekrutieren und auszubilden. Doch was sind die besten SE/SK-Nachwuchskräfte und wie identifiziert man diese in den eigenen Reihen der Polizei? Diese und weitere Fragen sollen in diesem Kapitel beantwortet und Praxishinweise zur Umsetzung von Auswahlverfahren auf Grundlage wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse gegeben werden. Neben der Etablierung und Umsetzung von Auswahlverfahren, wird abschließend auf die Evaluation der verwendeten Verfahren eingegangen.
