Abstract

ZusammenfassungGeschäftsführung im Jahr 2025 ist eine andere Aufgabe als noch vor zehn Jahren. Und doch arbeiten viele Geschäftsführer noch immer nach einem Rollenverständnis, das aus einer anderen Zeit stammt. Sie kämpfen mit operativer Überlastung, unklaren Erwartungen, fehlender strategischer Kapazität und dem ständigen Anspruch, trotzdem alles im Griff zu haben. Dieses Kapitel zeigt, warum die Realität heutiger Geschäftsführung oft nichts mit echter Führung zu tun hat und welche inneren und äußeren Dynamiken dieses Dilemma erzeugen. Drei Perspektiven machen das deutlich: Der Startup-Geschäftsführer, getrieben von Energie, aber ohne Struktur. Der bestellte Mittelstands-CEO, zerrieben zwischen Erwartung und Einfluss. Und der geschäftsführende Gründer, emotional verwoben mit dem Unternehmen, aber oft strategisch blockiert. Jeder von ihnen bringt Potenzial mit, aber alle drei sind in einem System unterwegs, das ihre Wirksamkeit bremst, statt sie zu befreien. Klassische Führungsbilder haben in dieser neuen Welt keinen Platz mehr. Sie erzeugen Druck statt Klarheit, Aktionismus statt Ausrichtung, Selbstüberforderung statt Zukunftsfähigkeit. Genau deshalb braucht es einen neuen Rahmen: Das CEO Office ist die Antwort auf diese Herausforderungen. Es schafft Kapazität, strukturiert Verantwortung neu und ermöglicht Geschäftsführung, wie sie heute sein muss: klar, strategisch und wirksam.
