Abstract

Zusammenfassung Nicht selten suchen sich erfahrene Angestellte aus der Wirtschaft eine Position in einer NPO, um den Übergang vom Berufs- zum Rentenalter mit einer Aufgabe zu füllen. Dies ist für beide Seiten sinnvoll und nützlich, jedoch sollten Sie sich bewusst sein, dass Sie – bildlich gesprochen – von Wasser zu Wein übergehen (oder umgekehrt!). Eine NPO, und besonders ihr Umfeld, funktionieren nicht wie ein Unternehmen. Wenn Sie es gewohnt waren, in Ihrer unternehmerischen Tätigkeit schnelle Entscheide zu fällen und unmittelbare Berichte zu Resultaten zu erhalten, werden Sie in der NPO Geduld lernen müssen.
