Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag untersucht die Bedeutung digitaler Kompetenz für Aufsichtsgremien mittelständischer Unternehmen und ihre Rolle in der digitalen Transformation. Dabei werden die strategischen Aufgaben des Boards von der Bewertung digitaler Trends über das Change Management bis hin zur Strategie beleuchtet. Zudem werden Best Practices für eine effiziente Arbeitsweise und den Einsatz digitaler Tools diskutiert. Der Beitrag zeigt auf, wie ein digital kompetentes Board als treibende Kraft den digitalen Wandel erfolgreich begleitet und damit die Weichen für eine langfristige Wettbewerbsfähigkeit stellt. Abschließend wird ein Ausblick auf zukünftige Entwicklungen und Anforderungen gegeben.
