Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag beleuchtet fünf prägende digitale Trends der vergangenen zehn Jahre und erläutert Hintergründe wie auch Ursachen für deren Scheitern oder langfristigen Erfolg. Dabei kommt dem „Faktor Mensch“ weit größere Bedeutung zu als den technologischen Neuerungen selbst. So führen unklare oder fehlende strategische Ziele, schlechte Steuerung und das Verharren in traditionellem Denken und Handeln immer wieder dazu, dass Transformationsprojekte nicht die angestrebten Ziele erreichen. Auch fehlende Anpassungen in der Organisation und Defizite in der Führung spielen eine zentrale Rolle. Unternehmen sollten diese Erkenntnisse nutzen, wenn es darum geht, mithilfe generativer künstlicher Intelligenz neue Effizienzgewinne und Wettbewerbsvorteile zu erschließen.
