Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel wird die Frage beantwortet, wie komplexe oder technische Sachverhalte verständlich und überzeugend präsentiert werden können. Zunächst werden vier Grundtypen technischer Vorträge vorgestellt, die sich nach dem Vorwissen des Publikums und dem Komplexitätsgrad der Inhalte unterscheiden: vom einfachen Standardvortrag über Trivial- und Fachvorträge bis hin zum besonders herausfordernden Populärvortrag. Diese Unterscheidung ermöglicht eine gezielte Ausrichtung auf Publikum und Thema. Im Anschluss wird mit der A-B-C-Analyse ein Werkzeug eingeführt, das dabei hilft, Inhalte nach ihrer Relevanz zu priorisieren und gleichzeitig das Zeitmanagement zu erleichtern. Im Zentrum des Kapitels steht zudem das rhetorische Prinzip der Angemessenheit, das fünf Dimensionen umfasst: Publikum, Person, Thema, Ort und Zeit. Diese Dimensionen helfen dabei, die eigene Präsentation so zu gestalten, dass sie inhaltlich korrekt, situativ stimmig und überzeugend bleibt. Abgeschlossen wird das Kapitel mit dem BABWIT-Modell, das sechs Kriterien für verständliche Vermittlung komplexer Themen formuliert: Basisbegriffe, Anordnung, Bedeutung, Wesentlichkeit, Illustration und Test. Diese Struktur bietet Rednerinnen und Rednern eine praxisnahe Checkliste, um sowohl sprachlich als auch didaktisch überzeugend zu kommunizieren.
