Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel wird darauf eingegangen, wie Sie auf eine streikende Technik, Lampenfieber und Stress sowie Blackouts reagieren können. Im Zentrum stehen rhetorische Strategien, um Zeit zu gewinnen, Ruhe zu bewahren und trotzdem überzeugend zu bleiben, beispielsweise durch Gegenfragen, Themenparken oder bewusst eingesetzte Pausen. Dabei wird für technische Störungen empfohlen, vorbereitet zu sein und flexibel zu handeln, zum Beispiel mit Alternativplänen, kurzen Unterbrechungen oder spontanen Aufgaben fürs Publikum. Lampenfieber und Blackouts werden hingegen als normale Stressreaktionen eingeordnet. Rituale, Atemtechniken und mentale Fokussierung helfen dabei, in der Situation handlungsfähig zu bleiben, denn es gilt: Souveränität entsteht nicht durch Perfektion, sondern durch klugen Umgang mit dem Unvorhergesehenen. Sie erhalten hierfür Möglichkeiten, die Sie im Falle eines Blackouts abarbeiten können, um auch Herr (oder Frau) eines extrem langen Blackouts zu werden.
