Abstract

ZusammenfassungWenn das Thema Finanzen aufkommt, haben viele Ärzte oft ein Unbehagen. Betriebswirtschaft wird im Studium nicht gelehrt und der Fokus liegt beruflich auf dem Patientenwohl, der Patientensicherheit, dem Praxisauf- und -ausbau. Das „ungute Finanzgefühl“ führt dazu, dass sie das Thema häufig verdrängen oder sich – wie viele Mediziner selbst berichten – „wohl oder übel“ auf ihren Finanzberater verlassen. Wie zahlreiche Praxisbeispiele stets aufs Neue belegen, wird dadurch meist der Grundstein für teure Fehlentscheidungen gelegt, wodurch das Unbehagen genährt wird und im Kontext die ungeliebten Finanzthemen auch nicht weiter punkten.
