Abstract

Zusammenfassung Mit dem im März 2024 in Kraft getretenen Gesetz zur Beschleunigung der Digitalisierung des Gesundheitswesens („Digital-Gesetz“, „DigiG“) soll bundesweit allen Versicherten u. a. der niedrigschwellige Zugang zu Telemedizin als fester Bestandteil der Gesundheitsversorgung ermöglicht werden. Beispielsweise zählt hierzu „die Erbringung telemedizinischer Leistungen durch Einrichtungen wie Hochschulambulanzen oder Psychiatrische Institutsambulanzen sowie psychotherapeutische Sprechstunden“ (BMG, 2025b). Allerdings führen besondere Lebenslagen dazu, dass Versicherte bei der Inanspruchnahme der diversen Leistungen auf Unterstützung angewiesen sind. Basierend auf demografischer Faktenlage werden in diesem Beitrag Bedingungen thematisiert, unter denen digitale Teilhabe als Vehikel für medizinische und psychosoziale Versorgung alter und hochbetagter Menschen erst ermöglicht und in der Folge deren bessere soziale Teilhabe bewirkt werden kann. An mehreren Stellen wird aktueller respektive akuter Klärungs- und Forschungsbedarf aufgezeigt. Veränderungen beruflicher Anforderungen im Kontext digitaler Altensozialarbeit werden skizziert.
