Abstract

ZusammenfassungDie EU-Taxonomie wird eine wichtige Rolle bei der Neuausrichtung der Kapitalströme hin zu nachhaltigen Investitionen in der Europäischen Union (EU) spielen (EU 2020a), auch wenn dieses Regelwerk im Jahresverlauf 2025 von der EU überarbeitet, „entbürokratisiert“ und vereinfacht wird. Die Taxonomie liefert dennoch wichtige Anhaltspunkte für die Gestaltung von Wirtschaftstätigkeiten im Hinblick auf eine klimaneutrale EU bis zum Jahr 2050. Unternehmen profitieren von der EU-Taxonomie durch eine verbesserte Transparenz und eine eindeutige Rahmenstruktur, die hilft, nachhaltige Investitionen zu identifizieren und zu fördern. Gleichzeitig besteht noch eine gewisse Unsicherheit, da für die Anwendung in der Praxis noch keine breiten Erfahrungswerte vorhanden sind. Künftig wird eine enge Zusammenarbeit zwischen Nachhaltigkeitsexperten und der Finanzabteilung/dem Controlling erforderlich sein, um die EU-Taxonomie im Unternehmen zu implementieren und gegebenenfalls darüber zu berichten.
