Bemerkungen zum Stand der Digitalisierung in der Industrie

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ohne auf einer repräsentativen empirischen Untersuchung aufzubauen, werden aufgrund von eigenen Erfahrungen und Veröffentlichungen einige Bemerkungen zum Stand der Digitalisierung der Industrie gemacht. Der Anwendungsstand der Digitalisierung hängt eng mit dem Angebot von Hard- und Softwareanbietern für Standardlösungen zusammen, da umfangreiche Individuallösungen wegen des benötigten Know-hows und des Investitionsbedarfs nur spektakuläre Einzelfälle sind. So sind z. B. die Megafactories von dem Unternehmen Tesla bekannt geworden. Generell teilen sich die Lösungen von Anbietern gemäß dem Y‑Industriemodell in drei Felder. Die mehr logistischen Aufgaben sowie die Shared Services werden durch ERP‐Systeme abgedeckt, in denen Anbieter wie SAP, Microsoft oder Oracle dominieren. Frühe Cloud-Anbieter für Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Einkauf und Personalwirtschaft haben diese zunächst bedrängt; inzwischen haben aber die ERP‐Anbieter durch Zukäufe von Cloudlösungen oder Änderung ihrer Architekturen zu Cloudanwendungen wieder aufgeholt. Für die technischen Anwendungen zur Unterstützung der Produktentwicklung und Fabrikplanung besteht neben einigen Großanbietern wie Siemens und Dassaud ein fragmentierter Markt von mittelständigen Spezialanbietern für Simulation und Berechnungen.
