Abstract

Zusammenfassung Unter CAM wird die computerunterstützte Ausführungsebene der Fertigung verstanden, also der rechte Teil des Stammes des Y‑Industriemodells der Abb. 9.1. Sie besteht aus den Systemen für computergesteuerte Maschinen, Werkzeugverwaltung, Lager- und Transportsteuerung, Qualitätssicherung und Instandhaltung. Die Systeme wurden bereits bei der Produktentwicklung beschrieben und werden nunmehr in die Fertigung eingebettet.
