Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Planungsstufen Bedarfs-, Zeit- und Kapazitätsplanung sind auf mittelfristige Zeiträume mit relativ groben Periodeneinteilungen ausgerichtet. Ihre Ergebnisse sind Auftragsdefinitionen sowie Zuordnungen zu Ressourcen, die aber für das Betriebsgeschehen noch keine bindende Wirkung besitzen. Weil sich die Planung auf einen längeren Zeitraum bezieht, enthält sie Quellen vielfältiger Störungen: Kundenaufträge werden storniert, Bedarfsprognosen revidiert, Kapazitätssituationen ändern sich usw. Mit der Freigabeprüfung der Fertigungsaufträge für den Produktionsprozess wird die Fertigungssteuerung eingeleitet. Der Begriff Fertigungssteuerung bezieht sich auf die Prozesse des linken Teils des Stammes des Y‑Industriemodells der Abb. 9.1. Daneben wird der Begriff CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) für die technischen Ausführungsprozesse, also den rechten unteren Stamm des Y‑Modells, verwendet. Beide Gebiete sind aber eng verbunden.
