Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Due Diligence dient der umfassenden Prüfung des Handwerksbetriebs, um Chancen und Risiken zu erkennen, den tatsächlichen Unternehmenswert zu bestimmen und fundierte Entscheidungen hinsichtlich der Übernahme treffen zu können. Eine gründliche Untersuchung verschiedener Prüffelder, wie der finanziellen Situation des Betriebs, seiner Organisations- und Personalstruktur, Steuerpflichten oder Auflagen, schafft nicht nur Transparenz für Betriebsinhaber, sondern schützt auch Nachfolger vor unvorhergesehenen Belastungen durch eventuelle Altlasten, Rechtsstreitigkeiten oder Umweltverstößen. Weiterhin ermöglicht sie eine realistische Einschätzung des Übernahmepreises. Ziel der Due Diligence ist es, finanzielle, rechtliche oder operative Risiken zu minimieren und die Grundlage für eine rechtssichere und wirtschaftlich tragfähige Nachfolge zu schaffen.
