Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Jahr 2025 ist das Internet für die meisten Entscheider in Europa kein „Neuland“ mehr, wie die ehemalige deutsche Bundeskanzlerin Merkel während einer Pressekonferenz mit Barack Obama im Jahr 2023 noch konstatierte. Die europäische Wirtschaft und auch Politik befinden sich derzeit mitten in der Hochphase des digitalen Wandels. Das Internet ist zum neuen Betriebssystem von Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft geworden, das nahezu alle Lebensbereiche und Geschäftsmodelle in rasanter Geschwindigkeit transformiert.
