Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Artikel wird untersucht, welche Erwartungen die Generation Z an den Einsatz von künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) in ihrem zukünftigen Berufsleben stellt und wie Unternehmen diesen Erwartungen begegnen können. Für die Studie wurden sowohl Studierende befragt als auch Expert:innen aus kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen interviewt. Die Ergebnisse verdeutlichen, dass die Generation Z eine ausgeprägte Affinität zu KI-Tools besitzt und von ihren zukünftigen Arbeitgebern erwartet, den Zugang zu solchen Technologien zu ermöglichen und deren Einsatz aktiv zu unterstützen. Zu den größten Herausforderungen zählen dabei insbesondere Bedenken hinsichtlich des Datenschutzes, das Fehlen klarer Richtlinien sowie potenzielle Qualifikationslücken. Unternehmen haben die Chance, KI gezielt einzusetzen, um Effizienz zu steigern, Innovationen zu fördern und ihr Employer Branding zu stärken. Um KI erfolgreich zu integrieren und als Arbeitgeber für die Generation Z attraktiv zu bleiben, sollten Unternehmen vorrangig in Fort- und Weiterbildungen investieren, eine offene Unternehmenskultur schaffen und umfassende KI-Strategien entwickeln.
