Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag fokussiert ein mit der Digitalisierung einerseits und dem Selbstverständnis der Sozialen Arbeit anderseits existierendes Spannungsfeld und fragt, wie die Profession Soziale Arbeit den Herausforderungen der Digitalisierung mit Integrität begegnen könnte. Ausgehend von einem grundlegenden Verständnis der Digitalisierung wird die von der International Federation of Social Workers beschlossene Selbstverortung der Sozialen Arbeit zum Gegenstand der Diskussion. Ethische Überlegungen werden an Beispielen aus der Arbeit mit Menschen mit Behinderungen einerseits sowie der Altenarbeit anderseits zumindest kursorisch charakterisiert. Den Abschluss des Beitrags bilden Überlegungen zu den Anforderungen an die Hochschullehre der Sozialen Arbeit.
