Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Rahmen verschiedener Digitalisierungsvorhaben im Gesundheitswesen soll die elektronische Patientenakte (ePA) durch verbesserten medizinischen Datenaustausch die Qualität der Versorgung erhöhen. Dabei sollen ePA-Daten auch für Forschungszwecke genutzt werden. Der von der EU verabschiedete Data Governance Act (DGA) regelt auch den Austausch von Gesundheitsdaten für Forschungszwecke. Um den Schutz von Persönlichkeitsrechten zu gewährleisten, wird vom DGA explizit auf Technologien wie Anonymisierung, synthetische Daten, Pseudonymisierung, Anonymisierung, differenzielle Privatsphäre und andere Methoden verwiesen. Während die meisten Methoden im Zuge der Anonymisierung zu einem Informationsverlust führen, versprechen synthetische Daten ein hohes Maß an Anonymisierung unter Beibehaltung ihrer Aussagekraft. Ob und wie gut synthetische Daten geeignet sind, die in der ePA verwalteten Daten der Forschung gemäß den Anforderungen des DGA zur Verfügung zu stellen, ist Gegenstand dieser Untersuchung.
