Abstract

The fields of teachingLehreLehren and learningLernen have undergone rapid changes in recent years, with digitalization having had, and continuing to have, a significant impact. E-learningE-Learning and, in particular, blended learning have fundamentally transformed the ways in which knowledgeWissen can be delivered and acquired, while there remains considerable potential to leverage these tools for a wide range of target groups and challenges. From a business perspective, it is HR managers and personnel managers who can utilize e-learningE-Learning and blended learning as part of HR development. Personnel and organizational consultantsOrganisationOrganisationsberaterinnen can support the consulting and development of knowledge managementWissenWissensmanagementManagementWissensmanagement and organizational learningLernenorganisationalesOrganisationorganisationales Lernen, drawing on knowledgeWissen of modern teachingLehreLehrmethodeMethodeLehrmethode and learning methodsMethodeLernmethode to integrate a contemporary and forward-looking consulting approach. For educational institutionsBildungBildungsinstitution, blended learning represents a shift in the business model, as “knowledgeWissen” is now demanded and delivered in new forms. As a result, strategic and procedural adjustments are necessary to optimize value creation and fulfill the societal educational mandateBildungBildungsauftrag. For all individuals working at educational institutionsBildungBildungsinstitution, this also requires adaptation, so that teachingLehreLehrform and learning formatsLernenLernform meet modern requirements and the qualityQualität of knowledge transferWissenWissensvermittlung can be elevated to a new level.
