Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bevor eine Handelsstrategie in der Praxis umgesetzt oder rückwirkend getestet wird, lohnt sich ein sorgfältiger analytischer Blick auf ihre Struktur und ihr Risikoprofil. Denn nicht jede auf dem Papier plausible Idee hält der Realität stand, insbesondere dann nicht, wenn sich die Marktbedingungen ändern oder unerwartete Volatilitätsereignisse eintreten. Moderne Handelsplattformen wie die Trader Workstation (TWS) von Interactive Brokers bieten dafür eine Vielzahl an Analysemodulen, mit denen sich Strategien nicht nur technisch durchdenken, sondern auch unter realitätsnahen Bedingungen simulieren lassen.
