Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, was die Digitalisierung und insbesondere die Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) für den Anwaltsberuf im Allgemeinen und die Testamentsgestaltung im Besonderen bedeuten. Es sollen dabei nicht nur die Auswirkungen und Einsatzmöglichkeiten von KI unter besonderer Beachtung der neuen europäischen Verordnung über künstliche Intelligenz 2024/1689 (KI-VO) thematisiert werden, sondern auch Problembereiche mit denen Rechtsanwälte im Rahmen der Nutzung derartiger Technologien konfrontiert werden könnten. Zudem sollen Begrifflichkeiten, die für viele Anwälte „Neuland“ sind, praxisnah erklärt werden. Des Weiteren soll es zu einer Beantwortung der Frage kommen, ob die KI im Bereich der erbrechtlichen Gestaltungen die klassischen Anwaltstätigkeit ersetzen kann.
