Abstract

Zusammenfassung FM benötigt verlässliche Informationen, um erfolgreich betrieben werden zu können. Informationsmanagement im FM dient der Bereitstellung von Daten mit korrektem Inhalt, in ausreichendem Umfang, in der erforderlichen Form und Detailliertheit, zum richtigen Zeitpunkt und am benötigten Ort. Eine strukturierte, aktuelle und konsistente Datenbasis ist also Voraussetzung für jegliches Facility Management. Dies gilt im Besonderen, wenn es sich um eine digitale Datenbasis handelt, die wiederum Grundlage eines nutzbringenden CAFM-Systems ist. Die wirtschaftliche Erfassung von FM-Daten ist eine der großen Herausforderungen bei der Einführung eines CAFM-Systems. Hier gibt es eine Reihe unterschiedlicher Methoden und technischer Hilfsmittel, die in diesem Kapitel vorgestellt werden.
