Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Entwicklung von CAFM-Software ist von zwei wesentlichen Faktoren abhängig: einerseits von den sich wandelnden unternehmensspezifischen Anforderungen der Anwender und auf der anderen Seite von neuen technischen Entwicklungen. Innovationen im CAFM sind vielfältig und lassen sich in zwei Gruppen einteilen – unternehmens- und IT-bezogene Faktoren. Die aktuellen CAFM-Trends wie KI, Cloud Computing, mobile Anwendungen und IoT, sind Themen aus dem klassischen IT-Bereich, die bei der Digitalisierung des Immobilen- und Facility Managements regelmäßig genannt werden. Dabei ist festzustellen, dass internationale Systeme weiter in der Entwicklung sind. Auch sind wichtige Trendthemen inzwischen so weit im Facility Management verankert, dass CAFM-Software diese aufgreift und durch geeignete Funktionen unterstützt, z. B. zur Dokumentation des nachhaltigen Handelns, zur Unterstützung der Betreiberverantwortung oder der Entscheidungsfindung. Der bedeutendste und anhaltende Trend ist die Integration der Künstlichen Intelligenz in Anwendungssoftware und Betriebssysteme. Weitere Trends wie der digitale Zwilling und die Vernetzung eines Smart Buildings mit CAFM etablieren sich.
